    Adam Katz Sinding

Adam Katz Sinding. I guarantee even if you have no idea who that is you have seen his photos. I promise. The genius behind Le 21 eme a street-style fashion blog, Adam has become a staple, a legend in the photog world. As irony would have it, I first stumbled on Le 21 eme years ago when it was gaining steam, yet I was shocked to hear it was helmed by a fellow Seattleite whom a friend of a friend knew really well because they had worked together etc., you know how the stories go in a small city. Adam’s eye is amazing and I feel as if so many of my…

    Smile, it’s Spring- Love ZARA

Zara Jacket here, Zara pants here, Zara shoes black here, forever21 blouse (old), World Market Necklace (seriously!) old.  I opened a Zara box today (in case you can’t tell, yes I love the store and yes, I probably shop there too frequently, but I admitted it right?) Anyway, this charming little sticker was holding the tissue together that said: Ok, maybe I made up the “it’s” part, but it was implied. What a lovely gesture from the company to remind me that flowers are blooming and that here in Seattle, it’s raining. A lot.  (a note on this necklace: It was purchased at World Market, a place my mother loves to go for…

    Weather Transitions

Sweater-Forever21 // Tildon Blouse here // Faux Leather Dolphin Shorts here (also in white, RAD!) // shoes Zara A sartorial struggle I find to be extra pronounced in the Seattle area is the changing of the seasons and the shifting of weather appropriate clothing. One reason is our seasons tend to be a bit blurry and occasionally discontinuous, meaning it gets warm in February then snows in late March. Because of that I often find myself losing closet real estate to my winter sweaters as I try to shift my wardrobe towards Spring which is why I have to find ‘blendy’ outfits like this one that make those sweaters wearable without looking like you…

    Trend: Stylish Sneakers for Spring

Unless you have been living under a rock (no offense to cave-dwellers) you know that sneakers/slip-ons are  trend in a BIG way.We all know Vans and have seen similar trends of designer sneakers come and go, but one has to admit that this round is getting quite interesting. Calf hair, textured, printed and floral sneakers abound making the choices as fun and daring as you so chose. I would go into the history of the sneaker and this fantastic trend, who started this edition etc, except for my friends over at we-heart-fashion did SUCH a good job that I would rather you check out their fantastic post, direct link here: Must Have Slip-Ons.…

    Shark-Face Zara

Astr Sequin Skirt last seen (here), Zara t-shirt, Forever21 Jacket (old), Nordstrom Booties (old) similar  Sharks and shark faces have become a thing here in Seattle. If you happen to have heard of a newer local rapper named Macklemore you may have also heard of his loyal banned of followers predating his international stardom, the Shark Face gang. I am also quite certain that I am not the only person in Seattle who hops on every single trend Givenchy introduces, including their shark face t-shirts. Men’s version here I love fashion statements like the Givenchy Shark Face shirt, with a Jaws like shark looming up looking as if he is ready…
