Why You Should Start Your Spring Shopping NOW

Spring may not have sprung quite yet but in retailers everywhere Spring fashion has started to appear. While I personally am a big ‘buy now where now’ kind of shopper I seem to find myself wishing every year that I had better prepared for the summer months earlier in the year. So this season I am bucking my own trend and starting to buy Spring/Summer dresses exactly when I should, which is right now.

    Trend Report: Opulence is IN

It all started with the 70’s trend: designers wanted this go-round to be different than our mothers’s version so they recreated trends only this time they strived to make them better. While I love my steals such as this insane H&M sequined bomber, which feels…

How to Wear a Plaid Jumpsuit Without Looking Like You Are Wearing Pajamas

I love a good jumpsuit and as the years go by this particular trend doesn’t seem to be loosing its steam. There are jumpsuits of all colors shapes and textures and this winter I found a new favorite, a plaid short-sleeved version from ASOS. I love the traditional fabric in a more unconventional shape but I kept running into the problem of having this jumpsuit look a bit too much like it could double as my pajamas. I came up with a few styling tips that help me feel more comfortable wearing this jumpsuit outside the house and they are easily applied to making any more casual item  feel dressed…
