Happy Anniversary everyone! If you are a seasoned, former corporate employee north westerner by myself you know all the ins and outs of the Nordstrom sale, but if you are new to the sale then welcome! Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale features all of Falls hottest NEW fashion a few months early at a discounted price. AKA a great time to get a jump start on your fall wardrobe AND save some money. Right now is the ‘Early Access’ time of the sale, meaning if you have a Nordy’s Card you can buy everything early! If you don’t have one, don’t fret: you can still sign up for one and they even have debit cards *that’s what I have* so need to get another Credit card people. So let’s get shopping.
First off, I am going to let you guys in on a little secret: despite my high fashion styling my absolute FAVORITE things to shop for on the Anniversary sale are not fashion items but rather the basics. Why, you might ask? Because they never go on sale any other time! I always take this opportunity to stock up on Hanky Panky underwear (colors and nudes) as well as my favorite Chantelle bra in nude. The bra also NEVER goes on sale, especially in basic colors so I add at least one every year and am always thrilled I did.
So now that basics are out of the way let’s get down to the FASHION!!!! There are so many AMAZING items this year, including the best bomber/aviator style jacket I have ever seen. Here are some of my favorites, including brands such as Topshop, Treasure & Bond, Free People and Nike.
