The New Monochrome: Mono-Print aka Match the Wallpaper

The monochromatic trend has been around for a while now and as we have seen at NYFW FW15 it is still going strong. A new take on this trend has been popping up as well where prints are treated like solids and mixed and matched within the same color palettes. Taken to the extreme like in today’s post, that can also translate into wallpaper-esque head to toe print matching. The key to pulling off a look like this is anchoring it with something different like a pop of unexpected color in a shoe or in a lip so that you don’t disappear into the background.
