This weekend was absolutely lovely and unfortunately probably one of the last beautiful AND warm ones that we will have for some time here in the Pacific Northwest. It was made even more obvious by the fact that a new addition to everyone’s summer-y garb seemed to be a chunky knit or jacket draped around everyone’s arm or waist, including mine. In honor of Summer’s passing I had a fabulous time in an equally fabulous hat playing with even more white after Labor Day (loving that trend!) and straddling the line between a little girly but not too girly. My philosophy with epic hats like this semi-sheer large amazingness is simply to never let the hat wear you: aka always have more sass than the hat. I find this to be something that is never too difficult as if you picked up an incredible hat in the first place then somewhere in you MUST be the confidence to wear it proudly and you simply have to trust that.
