This year has been incredible and full of firsts. One of the biggest first and probably the most life-changing thing I did was start this blog, Blogger Not Billionaire. I had wanted to start a blog for as long as I can remember however it takes a certain kind of kick in the ass personally and the support of those you love (and their encouragement as well) to finally take that risk. Happy Holidays Everyone! I hope you will excuse my brief blogging hiatus as I was gearing up for the Holidays just like all of you! Today I really wanted to share with you one of my Holiday Party outfits since I had a difficult time figuring out what to wear this year. The Statement Midi Skirt
I am usually not much of a skirt person but I seem to be trying all kinds of new silhouettes lately like this pleated white midi skirt. The fabric is heavy on this piece causing the draping to lie flat rather than puff out which flatters my pair shape, a shape that doesn’t usually doesn’t do very well in long skirts. The length of the skirt combined with the weight give a very pant-like feeling to the garment which makes me even more comfortable and warm wearing it in the winter. Yes I mean culottes, and no matter how in denial you may be you have to have seen this coming.
