The Statement Midi Skirt

I am usually not much of a skirt person but I seem to be trying all kinds of new silhouettes lately like this pleated white midi skirt. The fabric is heavy on this piece causing the draping to lie flat rather than puff out which flatters my pair shape, a shape that doesn’t usually doesn’t do very well in long skirts. The length of the skirt combined with the weight give a very pant-like feeling to the garment which makes me even more comfortable and warm wearing it in the winter.

I can’t deny that I have been fully embracing the ‘Winter White’ trend. I find it to be the perfect background to the great print on my Sheinside blouse and my MAC lipstick in Rebel.Combine those elements with a statement clutch, some sunshine and a great pair of suede boots and you have a great winter look that will translate well across seasons.
