OMG WHITE PANTS! AND a white shirt! AND jacket! The other day one of my coworkers was telling me how white shoes scared her after a certain point in the season. Clearly I wasn’t properly hardwired at birth because I personally thing white should be best in the winter. It’s like camo for the snow!!!… no? Well I love it. And once “winter white” became a thing on an Alexander Wang runway I was sold. Absolutely sold. Today I took everything white that I had and put it on ALL AT ONCE. (Confession: I do have white shoes but I liked the contrast of the black with the necklace to balance things a touch and ensure I don’t disappear into the wall…
A comment on HOW EXPENSIVE my outfit is, or rather isn’t… The jacket is an INCREDIBLE steal from Forever21. I have it in maroon as well and it looks like a million dollars even though it was $15..(30 originally but I purchased it on a half-off outerwear day. Wahoo!) Also, the top, while polyester, looks like silk and drapes like a dream. Also from Forever21. I bought it in black as well after I received the white one from an ambitious online shopping excursion. I wear them to work, after work, wherever, they are just the perfect top and were under $30. Ridiculous. Quickly because you are probably getting bored, jeans are Proenza Schouler from the Nordstrom Rack (HOLLER), over 70% off, shoes were from Hautelook, Sam Edelman (I had been stalking them since the heyday of the Olsen twins wearing the real versions) and the necklaces are also F21. If you put in the time hunting for the deals, you will find them, and then one day you too can be completely hidden in a snow flurry!
